Auditronics 110 "Grandson" 24-Channel Console - Full Recap + Upgrades

For sale is a rare and complete Auditronics Grandson 110b 24-channel console. All 24 channels have 3-band inductor EQ. I just had the entire console recapped and had the power supply refurbished (Spring 2020). Recap was done by one of the finest techs in NY and he will gladly answer any questions about the work he did on the console. 

This is an awesome console with vibe for days. It is extremely rare to find a complete 24-channel Auditronics console and it took me years to find this one. The previous owner was an Auditronics expert and kept this console in amazing shape. In addition to the 24 mic pre/eq channels, the console has 8 buss outs and two effects sends.

The console is a small-format size measuring 50" wide x 36" deep and 12" high at the highest point, which is the top of the meter bridge. The board has cool API-style knobs on all faders and has a custom red leather arm rest. Cosmetically, I think it looks incredibly clean for it's age but there are the usual signs of a console this old. Please see photos for condition. I can send more detailed photos if requested.

All 24 channels are 110B mic pre modules with API-style inductor 3-band EQ. The previous owner upgraded many of the modules with vintage API input transformers and they sound incredible. Comes with A30 output cards using the original Jenson transformers, upgraded Triad transformers, and a few cards with an API mod currently housing Purple audio 2520 style op amps. The output cards are easy to switch out (just flip the hood) and provide different sonic textures to play with upon mixdown. This makes the console much more flexible for mixing purposes. There are 1/4" line-inputs that that the previous owner installed on each channel. All of the other connections on the console use the original molex. Included with the sale are molex parts, connectors, and the crimping tool so you can design cabling to suit your specific needs. You can also just covert the remaining molex connections to whichever connections you prefer (XLR, 1/4", et cetera). The console is extremely easy to work on. 

Comes with the original Auditronics PS-30 power supply that has just been refurbished. 

Comes with original manual, schematics, brochure sheets, and original metal legs. Even comes with original sales sheet from Auditronics.

Also included in the sale are a bunch of spare pieces (complete list below). It even comes with a module tester that was custom built so you can power on and check individual channels without having to plug it back into the board (see photos).

Free local pickup in Kingston, NY. The console is easy to transport and fits in my car, so there is a possibility I can deliver/meet-up within a reasonable distance in the northeast.

Will consider shipping, but only if done right. The modules and output cards can all be removed from the frame and boxed separately. And the power supply can be packed separately as well. If you are serious, contact me and we can discuss shipping options.
