About This Listing
This Pioneer PL-71 turntable works as if it were new. The Pioneer PL-71 turntable looks beautiful.
It was gone through by a technician with over 50 years experience working on audio equipment. A common issue with the PL-71 turntable is maintaining consistent speed. Two parts were replaced to correct this issue. The headshell is a Stanton with a Shure V15Vx cartridge with stylus. The cartridge and stylus value is in the 300 plus dollar range.
There are minimal marks on the original dust cover. There are two small cracks and one small crack located on the dust cover hinges. All corners are sharp on the plinth and base. The plinth looks beautiful. The feet are original. Included are the original RCA cords and original Pioneer PL-71 shipping box with all the properly shaped styrofoam forms.
In regards to shipment, there is a styrofoam form to hold the 45 disc and the tonearm weight which I will utilize. Since the headshell and cartridge are not original I will place them in their own separate container. I will place the original Pioneer PL-71 shipping box into another heavy duty shipping box with packing to help ensure safe delivery.
