About This Listing

Roland D-20:
A great late-80s synthesizer with endless customization!

The Roland D-20, released in 1988, is a 61-key all-purpose synthesizer and MIDI controller that is recognized as one of the first “workstation” synthesizers, which enabled composers to create full songs using a single piece of equipment. D-20 sound engine employs linear arithmetic synthesis (LAS), which provides a huge amount of control for users who like to really jump into the details of the synthesis algorithms (think: programming on the Yamaha DX7). But if you don't want to get deep in the guts of this thing, don't worry: the D-20 is also loaded with a ton of great presets. The keyboard features a number of other great features, such as velocity sensitivity and on-board effects. If you're looking for an excellent all-around synthesizer with a nice 80s taste, be sure to check out the Roland D-20.

This keyboard is in very good condition, with some signs of age and use, including some scratches, scuffs and coloration (please see photos). Further, the unit has been thoroughly tested by our professional technician and works perfectly. Driver does't check Driver needs a new floppy belt.
