The Mario Gropp workshop characterizes itself by the harmonious interaction of tradition and innovation. The Spezial series guitars are made to meet the highest demands of concert guitarists. Thus, these models are known for their fast response, long sustain, even tonal balance across the fingerboard and excellent projection.
This Spezial model is constructed with a spruce top and a 'Padouk' soundboard, which you don't see often. The wood has tangents to both rosewood and maple, making it an exceptionally good choice for a classical guitar.
The body is paired with a cedar neck with an ebony fingerboard giving the guitar a 650mm scale. Other features include the luxurious Alessi tuners, the ebony bridge with two-piece saddle and the distinctive oval soundhole. The condition is very good. There are some signs of playing here and there, including dings and small spots. Case included.
