About This Listing
A Regal made rare concert sized uke from right around 1920.
Label inside reads
“Standard Approved by the National Association of Musical Instruments”
Beautiful curly/ tiger stripe mahogany, double bound neck, body and sound hole in ivoroid, no cracks, some thick finish cracking below the neck on the back, neck appears to have been reset at some point and is secure and straight. The bridge also appears to have been reglued and is also secure. One long ding on the back.
Sounds very musical and good volume. Perhaps the coolest part is “GEORGE FROM ALMA” is scratched faintly on the back corner. All original and low action, playable and sweet.
No case but will be packed strong.
