1999 Ampeg AMB1-PM Bass Guitar

In the late '90's/early 2000's, Ampeg offered wooden bodied versions of their famous Dan Armstrong Lucite guitars.  This example was made in 1999.  It has a fairly rare finish that Ampeg's catalog called "Metallic Purple" (the finish looks more like metallic pink to my eyes).

This bass is a very easy player - with a straight, well crafted neck and a nice powerful/punchy Seymour Duncan Basslines pickup.

It is a shortscale bass @ 30.5".

The cosmetic condition is good for it's age - but there are a couple flaws.  It looks like the body took a ding at some point and the finish has a factory imperfection where it looks like the paint was over-sprayed a bit (under the clearcoat).  I tried to highlight these blemishes with arrows in the last photo.

Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
