This is a rare Peavey T-20 bass from the early 80s. It has all of the original parts, including the knobs and the hardshell case.

The bass is of average weight. My guess would be a little over 9 pounds. It is no where near as heavy as a T-40, or some of the other T-20s I've seen. Strap balance is decent.

The neck has a gloss finish. It has a thin profile from back to front. The nut is 1 3/4 inches.

It has the slanted super ferrite pickup with built in thumb rest.

Currently it is strung with Cobalt Flats, but I have also recently used GHS Boomers and I think they sounded great.

It does have a few patches of missing finish, including a few tiny spots where it looks like a previous owner tried to correct it. The biggest blemish is on the back, about the size of two guitar picks. See photos.

There is an extra white pick guard included, though it's a bit worn. I originally used it but went back to the black because it felt more correct on this bass. You can see what it looks like in one of the photos.

Please contact me with any additional questions. If you like vintage basses, I think you'll enjoy playing it!
