Up for sale, a Tokai Breezysound Vintage Series model ATE-95 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. This modern iteration of Tokai's T-style platform is a faithful, high-quality spin on the Fender Telecaster. The highest tiered ATE series model currently available from Tokai, this is a genuine Japanese-made instrument, as opposed to the much more common Chinese-made models in this series.

Featuring a two-piece alder body and a one-piece Canadian maple neck, this guitar truly delivers on its promise of classic Tele sparkle. Fat and throaty in the neck position, chimey and cutting in the middle, and offering chewy twang in the bridge position, this guitar covers all of the critical single coil bases via the original TE-Vintage MK3 pickups. Weighing 8lbs 1oz, this Tokai has been professionally setup here at Mike and Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, spot-on intonation, and comfortable action.

The one-piece maple neck has a slender C carve (advertised by Tokai as a "Medium Soft U" profile) at the nut with nicely rounded shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, gaining a bit more heft in the higher registers, measuring .830" deep at the 1st fret and .925" at the 12th. The maple fretboard features a 7 1/4“ radius, and the stock medium jumbo fretwire has well-rounded crowns, showing just a touch of wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-5. The scale length is 25 1/2“ and the nut measures 1 9/16“ in width. On the headstock, the Tokai logo is present in spaghetti script, and the original Kluson-style tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch well.

All of the electronics work as they should, with stock potentiometers wired to the factory installed single coil pickups. The bridge has individual string saddles for optimal intonation, and the bridge does appear to be original to the instrument, despite the ATE-95 being advertised with a three-saddle design. The chrome hardware and plastic parts are near mint, and the White Blonde finish is nearly opaque, with just a hint of the body's grain peeking through. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few minor scattered nicks and scuffs on the body, mostly relegated to the back, while the neck profile gloss is smooth and free of palm wear.

A gigbag is included.
