Made in 1952 (S/N 31xxx), the Reynolds Professional “Sterling Deluxe” Bb Trumpet is Reynolds' top of the line trumpet at the time, featuring a .458" bore, 4 5/8" sterling silver bell with gorgeous hand-burnished gold inlaid engraving and a sturdy yet very responsive nickel-silver leadpipe. The valves of this particular one was just replated by Mark Metzler of Metzler Brass and they're easily better than new from the factory! The trumpet has a killer singing sound with plenty of overtones thanks to the sterling bell, and also way too easy responsiveness that you really don't get from a regular trumpet these days. There are some damages on the lacquer especially on the bell, but for a horn that is almost 70 years old that is to be expected. Don't miss out your chance to pick up this beauty!
