This mixer are in good working condition, I use them all the time. Will be cleaned, checked and serviced if needed before shipping.
To my knowledge it is the first mixer made by Studer, in 1967. Discrete electronics in A class. Studer transformers in every module. - 3 section inductor based Eq. - 12 channels and stereo sum - 2 auxes - insert point for every channel and for master L and master R - 4 external inputs C1-4, only for listening through built in power amplifier. - stereo bus 1-2 plus bus 3 attached to a left channel and bus 4 attached to a right channel. - two channel power amplifier. 20W but easily feeds my Quested 3208 passive speakers. Sounds beautiful. - what is interesting about that mixer is that Attenuation knob in fact sets feedback of the preamp, so you can get different colors: more transparent at 0, thicker at 9. - case
Modifications: 1. Insert rerouted to prefader (originally after fader) 2. Headphone output in white mixer, with external power supply (included) 3. Though all the capacitors in the mixer are tantalum, which theoretically don’t get old, they do get old. So their Q factor was measured and the ones that kept the best quality were kept and soldered in the most important places, the rest were replaced by Elma Silmic silk capacitors. 4. External outputs for bus 3 and 4 - you can lead signals out of the mixer like drums to process them and then plug them back to chosen channels of the mixer the mixer. 5. To decrease bleed between the channels, resistors on the output of every channel were changed from 2,2k to 5k. Summing section is very loud ( I keep master faders at -30 level), so no harm here. 6. Original legs were too high for me, so I ordered lower. You get two sets of legs. High and low. You can change legs from time to time not to get bored with your Studer 089 mixer! Notice: there are no direct outs, I never needed them using external preamps, but they can be easily added to the system, your engineer will manage it easily.

this mixer worked in Polskie Nagrania record company as a recording mixer. Andrew Lipinski, from whom I bought this mixer told me, that his teacher, professor Karużas used it for years, recording classical music. This mixer has no flaws, everything works fine and sounds great. This mixer comes in a CASE.
