This is an interesting old EQ from MXR. It is compact and very solid. The issue for me is that it sounds kind of noisy. Also, the impact it has on tone seems to be in the higher frequencies, so it might be more useful for a guitar player. I could not get a lot of bass out of it for a synthesizer FX loop. Paintjob is beat, but it has character.
