About This Listing

These Kamaka Keiki Ukes are fairly hard to find. Becoming Very Collectable.
Fabricated in Japan & Hand Finished in Hawaii.
These were produced by Kamaka 1963-70 to battle the forgeries coming out of the Japan market in the early 60's.
This one is in really nice shape.
All original. Gold label Model.
No cracks, but theres a small top/side seam separation & a back/side seam separation ( see pics)
Both easily repairable ( if you even want to.....).
According to the kamaka site, these were Mahogany, but I've seen a couple others advertised as Koa. Really nice flame on the back of the neck.
It plays & sounds Great.
One very similar to this sold on Ebay for $895 + shipping. So, this is a Bargain !!
No case , but will be packed with the utmost attention to detail.
Domestic Shipping Only, due to new CITES regulations( see Reverb News for an article explaining)
