This is quite a rare guitar and and is a fantastic example of Ibanez craftsmanship. It is beautifully made. The only problem I have had with it is the difficulty of photographing a black guitar. It is probably the best sounding archtop I have played and but for the fact that I am not playing jazz I would have kept it. It really does deserve to be played by someone who will enjoy it.

The playing action is excellent, with an articulate and clear sound with plenty of body and top end. The tone control is quite interesting as it lessens the top end but without getting at all muddy. There is no noticeable fret wear and the neck feels exceptionally comfortable. I have been using Flatwound 12's with an unwound .022. I can supply new strings in the same gauge flatwound or roundwound with a plain or wound g string.
