Spector EURO4BK Euro 4 Black Gloss - with D-Tuner

I've had this bass for about 3 years. I has been my main bass for a long time.  Unfortunately due to Covid I have to sell some of my basses. I am sad to see this one go.

This has a Hipshot D-Tuner installed, as well as new Schaller strap locks. It has had a professional setup and has been kept in a smoke free home. I have taken very good care of this bass.  There are a few little dings on the very base on the body from an old guitar stand I had, shown in two of the pictures. Very minor but wanted to call it out. 

This one is unique in that it came with a Michalik BP-4 Preamp.  Details of this preamp can be found here:

"The BP-4 bass preamp (the active electronics) was designed in 2001 (revision_A, now exists revision_L). The goal was to make an output impedance lower (more energy), the frequency controls adjust "musically", not technically."

Because of the uniqueness of the eq in this preamp, I had professionally installed arrow washers under the bass and treble knobs to mark where the eq was flat (approximately).

It is in very good condition! Grab this at a price you cant find anywhere else.

Powerful EMG P/J pickups

The Euro 4 Classic holds down the low end in style. That’s largely thanks to a pair of powerful EMG pickups, fitted in tone-enhancing reverse-P/J configuration. This arrangement gives you the low-end punch from the split-coil EMG P pickup in the middle position, along with the aggressive growl from the J-style single-coil at the bridge. The reverse split-coil configuration maximizes low-end articulation, while rounding out notes played on the high strings. This makes total sense in a P/J-equipped bass, as you can dial in as much high end as you want with the bridge pickup and the active 2-band EQ. Mix up your signature blend, and you’re ready to rock.
