Favilla F6 built in 1965 by Tom Favilla with non OHSC

These guitars are sleepers.  They are amazing for the price, they are made in the US by the Favilla family.  The F6 is all solid, spruce and mahogany with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

With roots in classical guitars, this guitar is fan braced, which lead to a crack in the top that is secure and has been fixed.  The guitar was just serviced by Fret Boss in Staunton, VA.  Danny gave it a new bone nut, cleaned the bridge pin grooves, and fixed some loose binding. Small imperfections throughout, one top crack, small finish blemish by the fretboard at the binding.

This guitar sounds and plays wonderful and has a perfect vintage, jangley tone.  Perfect for a singer songwriter.

It is 55 years old and has tons of life left.  it has a fixed truss rod that has great relief.
