This guitar is a Randy Reynolds 2018 Grand Legacy Double Top and Randy's final guitar from over twenty years of building. It is loud, bold, and distinct, yet not boomy like many double top instruments. It has a modern sound and an unbelievable clarity and balance that Randy strives for with these models. Easy to play and infinitely comfortable; once you pick it up, it is hard to put down. The woods are choice and were saved by Randy for his final guitar. The Brazilian Rosewood is a master grade, and the Alpine Spruce shines with excellence. Randy feels this is a monster of a guitar and has a character unattainable by most instruments, in part because of the rare master woods that give it an even more superior tone compared to many of his best guitars. 

The basses are strong and cello-like, and the trebles cut through to sing any melody. Because of the double top construction, the instrument has amazing volume and projection and can easily perform all but the largest concerts without amplification. It features an elevated fretboard for easy accessibility above the 12th fret and a 20th fret to reach the high C that is occasionally needed in advanced repertoire. The beautiful and artfully hand-carved listening port lets the player hear the guitar as if they were in the audience—the perfect guitar for the serious player or connoisseur of fine and rare instruments. Overall the guitar is in excellent condition, minus the stray minuscule ding and a few fingernail marks. The only superficial issue is in the French-Polish. In shipping to me, the guitar got a bit warm, and the new French polish got soft, leading to some cloudy spots and minor imperfections and a fingerprint mark on the headstock as well as some flaking of the polish along the binding. This is of no major consequence as Frech Polished instruments should be touched up throughout the years as general maintenance. A thorough touchup will restore the guitar to mint condition. It is not noticeable from a distance. Please see the pictures for a better idea.
