George Fullerton, who was a close associate of Leo Fender (he is the "G" of "G & L") and contributed so much to Fender, G&L and MusicMan, passed away on July 4, 2009.  RIP. This guitar, similar to a 1957 Strat, is a tribute to him, and is special for several reasons.  1995 is the 1st year of issue for this commemorative model, and this one is #110 (GF0110), so just the 110th one made!  Very few were made in this color:  Candy Apple Red, which has a metal flake from an undercoat... just an awesome finish color.  I've yet to find another.  Most of the red ones you see, when you see them, are the orangy "Fullerton Red".   Plus-- it is in near mint condition and has a signed certificate  and George's signed 1993 book titled "Guitar Legends: The Evolution of the Guitar from Fender to G&L", which is a very good read.   It also has all the paperwork:  Owner's Manual, a COA, warranty card and info sheet.   George Fullerton's signature is on the the headstock and the front of guitar.

Very little playing wear.  Maybe just a few nicks and tiny finish checks... but really very near new and vibrant.  Great feeling 3-bolt (made only 2 years before 4-bolt) hard-rock maple fat V-neck; which is dated April 1995, and is marked a #1 neck.   The guitars had 22 vintage narrow frets.   Note:  these "fat" V-necks were ONLY made in April/May 1995, and were too costly to produce, so were changed subsequently.  The body is 2-piece ash and weighs 7.55 lbs.   12-inch neck radius; brushed chrome Sperzel tuners on the earlier ones; 1 5/8 nut (1.63"); alnico V single coil PU’s.  The tremolo system here was known as a Dual Fulcrum Vibrato.   It has the original tremolo bar, and an extra, heavier tremolo block (maybe 1st owner was trying to change up the sustain).

The Fullerton Signature model was made into 2007.   I've owned it, unplayed, since 2006.   Rare and Collectible!!   I feel these are hugely under-valued, and rival most anything out of the Fender Custom Shop, as for the quality.  And this one has the extra provisions of being a first run (the 110'th made of the total line, with the earlier features like the V-neck and a very rare color. It is also near new and has the book and original paperwork).

Comes in a plastic molded OHSC that is missing 1 latch
