A variation of the award-winning DW Edge® snare drum (U.S. Patent #5377576), the DW Top Edge™ is designed to offer a bit more "woodsy" warmth than it's hybrid predecessor. The solid brass top ring is cast and machined in California to exacting specifications, then precisely press fit onto the DW Custom Shop Maple shell.
Other standard features include 3.0 True-Hoops(tm), True Pitch 50(tm) Tuning, MAG Throw-Off(tm) System with 3P butt plate and DW Heads by Remo.
