Very rare to find one of these. In very good condition.
Inspired by Nashville session bassist Michael Rhodes, the Rumble Seat is a stool size box which contains an 8" woofer and hardware to mount a recording microphone. Even has Michael Rhode's signature printed over the EA logo on the front. The bassist sits on the top lid which has been designed to transmit vibrations to the posterior yet remain virtually inaudible outside. The internal microphone captures speaker sound which can be used alone or mixed with a DI feed into the recording console.
The bassist hears the DI feed through headphones and receives the lows from the Rumble Seat. The result is the impact of an amp in the room without any sound in the room.

Virtually inaudible, the Rumble Seat delivers that subsonic impact that bass players love on stage and, until now, have missed in the studio when monitoring through headphones. In addition, the included microphone holder is wired to allow you capture the deepest tones your instrument can produce. "
