About This Listing

For sale is this absolutely stunning German-made Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman. It was one of the first series of Jazzman basses ever to be made. The bass is in overall excellent condition - which is extremely rare given its age!
What's so cool about this bass is that it looks like it's been asleep for 20 years and just woke up! Talk about a time capsule. As such, there are hardly any blemishes on the bass (one or two very small ones, see pics). This beauty has recently undergone a setup and plays like butter. It's capable of producing a wide array of tones, thanks to the MEC humbucker and jazz pickup. You can go from full-on Stingray to round, full-bodied wooden tones and anything in between.

The bass's original MEC preamp has been swapped out for a quieter, more subtle and transparent Glockenklang preamp, featuring stacked bass and treble controls, push-pull volume knob (active/passive mode), mid and balance.

In addition, the Streamer LX Jazzman has a 3-way toggle switch which runs the gamut of single coil (neck-side coils), series, and parallel modes.
The body wood is AAA flamed maple in an Antique Tobacco oil finish. The neck is a 3-piece laminate consisting of 2 pieces of ovangkol and one piece of wenge in the middle. As with most Warwicks, the fingerboard is wenge.

Because this bass was still produced in the glory days of Warwick's manufacturing it features the Just-A-Nut I adjustable nut, gold hardware, and Warwick's 2-piece bridge for easy string changing and increased sustain (also due to the bell brass frets).

This bass is likely going to sell quickly given its condition and rarity (being a German-made Warwick, and a lefty at that), so don't dilly-dally!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me! I don't have a case for the bass, but will ship securely  in a padded gig bag and solid box with plenty of cushioning for safe transport. I have experience shipping basses abroad, but should you have any specific wishes, let me know.

*Price dropped to 1200 euros only for this weekend (12-13 Dec.)*
