It has been 35 years since the first models by Paul Reed Smith set the guitarist world in a state of excitement. US stars like Carlos Santana started to play these instruments and from 1986 the first guitars arrived in Europe in the smallest quantities. Quality and sound impressed and a PRS was soon on the wish list of many guitarists. Nothing has changed so far! PRS is still a manufacturer that produces comparatively small numbers of the highest quality.
For the 35th Anniversary here comes the guitar that started it all, the Custom 24! In addition to the familiar qualities, the Anniversary offers the switching options of the "Paul’s Guitar". An 85/15 Bass in the neck position and an 85/15 on the bridge can be switched to pure-bred single-coil sound with 2 mini switches separately .
