About This Listing

Gibson J45 Banner 1943. Mahogany Top

Made in USA 1943.

77 Year Old Gibson J45, all mahogany construction which was due to restrictions on Spruce during the WWII, making this a very rare guitar. No visible FON or Serial number again reminiscent of the Wartime Gibson’s. Banner Logo, scratchplate, machine heads all date this guitar at 1943.

The guitar has some checking all over as expected, hasn’t knowingly had a neck re-set. Currently setup with 11’s with a great action height. The guitar sounds wonderful and plays very easily. A super rare Wartime Gibson Acoustic.

Please feel free to email or call 01435 867333 if you would like to try the guitar, many more pictures on our website or if have any questions at all.
