Rocketfire S-style Guitar Surf green

This guitar plays amazing but is a bit of a mystery to me.  I've had it for over 10 years at this point and its outlasted many high end and boutique guitars (novo, collings, danocaster, fender custom shop, suhr, etc).  I'm ready to move on since I found my forever strat and I'm trying to embrace a more minimalist setup, so my loss is your gain.  This guitar is one of the good one's and it's a steal at this price.  Basically, you are getting 2/3 of a rocketfire s-style guitar (good luck finding any on the used market since they stopped making guitars to focus on pickups) with a super resonant and nicely relic'd body.

So, here's what I know about it.  The neck is a rocketfire neck with a F logo applied by a previous owner (i think).  As you know, before rocketfire started focusing on pickups, they built some AMAZING guitars.  The neck on this is the perfect soft V with a super comfortable worn-in back of the neck.  The fretboard and frets are in good condition.  The pickups and aged pickguard are also rocketfire and sound amazing (danocaster uses rocketfire pickups frequently on his S-style guitars so that says just about all you need to know about the tone of these).  Just the perfect strat tones and the pickups alone are 300 new right now. 

Here is where things get interesting.  When I bought this I was under the impression it was 100% rocketfire (likely my fault for not asking but I was just a college kid who saw a cool guitar and made a trade).  However, about 5 years ago I took it to a tech who told me the body was different.  I let it be for years after that (it sounded and played great so why mess with it?) and finally decided to pop the neck off and take a look.  I have a really hard time reading the stamping on the neck pocket but the body is resonant and feels great.  The relic'ing looks great and feels authentic.  I can send any detailed pictures upon request.  I believe the bridge is from an american fender and is the traditional 2 7/32" spacing, so likely an american vintage model.

Comes with a tweed G&G hardcase.
