Vintage 1990's Shure SM62 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone Low Z w mic clip & mic pouch

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Here's a unique and somewhat smaller Shure mic with great sound quality. The model SM-62 dynamic cardioid microphone set at 150 OHMS or Low Z. It has a warm rich tone that you'll really appreciate and it comes with an aftermarket mic clip that fits the mic perfectly and a Shure mic pouch. The signal strength on this SM-62 is very strong and very clear.  Like new and absolutely no issues!

 This is a 1990's model as it was eventually made in Mexico before being discontinued in the late 1990's. The earlier SM-62 models were originally made in the U.S.A in the late 1970's and into the late 1980's I believe. The SM-62 was manufactured for about 25 years. The SM-62 is very lite weight. Quite smaller than the standard hand held mic. It's only 5 inches long X 1 1/4 wide at the tip.

 The SM-62 series has a very modern and classy look. It comes with it's stock champagne gold / silver color scheme. Not sure of the actual color but that's the best I can describe it. This is a high quality dynamic cardioid mic with uni-directional characteristics cancelling out all back ground noise. A perfect choice for broadcasting purposes.

  As you can see in the pictures provided there are just lite signs of wear on the original paint in the form of several lite scratches and a few scuff marks. The Shure logo that encircles the mic shows lite wear but completely legible. No tarnish, dents or odors on the front grill.

 The original inner pop filter was completely gone so a new one was installed. It helps with unwanted feedback from talking (pops) or windy conditions. Let the pics be your guide please.  Mic is 100% complete and solid. No loose parts. The mic takes your standard XLR cable which is not included but these are very easy to buy and get a hold of.

 Mic comes with an aftermarket model mic clip that fits well and it's in great overall condition. The clip provides a wide degree of tilt up and down and will screw onto any desk or floor stand.

 The Shure black vinyl mic pouch is also included. it's in perfect condition and the zipper works great. A very nice place to store both the mic and clip when not in use.

 Overall a great looking and excellent working mic that's about average for a 30 year old microphone and an easy 7 + on a scale of 1 - 10 physically speaking. Hook this one up and you are ready for any live event.
