Mark is the owner of MJ Engineering and has been making custom, hand-built guitars for 45 years. He got his start at Alembic in the 1970's and is considered one of the Top USA Luthiers. The "Big Sky" Model is a flagship for MJ. It is engineered with innovation and hands on research over many years of player feedback. It is ergonomic and very well balanced.
