Up for sale is this vintage 1970's Ampeg GE-150 Heavy Stud electric guitar. This original Japanese-built guitar is pretty rare and you don't see them for sale often. This one has a few changed parts and shows some wear, so please see all of the pictures.

The guitar appears to be all original with the exception of the control knobs and what we believe to be a Gibson Dirty Fingers humbucker in the neck position. The original bridge pickup sounds great and is very hot. The original cherry finish shows wear, but the only major ding is on the edge under the control plate (pictured). There is a small, less than half inch piece of binding missing on the headstock (pictured).

The guitar plays nicely with low action, but could use a light set up to bring it to your exact playing preferences. The frets show fairly heavy wear, but still have some life left in them and the neck is straight.

No case or gig bag is included, but it will be packed well for safe shipping.
