Up for sale is this vintage 1966 Pleasant SEV 218. Man, this one is COOL!
This guitar is in nice condition for its age and is all original, with the exception of the missing tremolo arm and a newer nut.
At some point, someone has added their initials to the headstock and scratched them into the back of the neck. The original white finish shows wear and there's one small, barely noticeable, repaired stress crack in the body at the neck pocket (pictured)
This instrument plays well for what it is but, as always the case with these Japanese guitars, it isn't perfect. There is a touch of backbow in the neck and the truss rod is all the way loose. This leads to some buzzy notes on the 4th through the 9th fret with the action low where it should be. There is a small piece of wood missing under the last fret (pictured), which causes the guitar to fret out on the last fret.
All of the electronics work perfectly and the pickups sound great.
Overall, this is a pretty nice example of a pretty rare guitar. No case or gig bag is included, but it will be well packed for safe shipping.
