FULLY MODDED Soundcraft Spirit Studio 24CH Mixing Console like JIM WILLIAMS mod - CAL Ghost Killer!!

This is a FULLY MODDED Soundcraft Spirit Studio 24CH Mixing Console with a Beefy Custom made Power Supply!


Every single Channel, Group, Aux, Master, etc has been upgraded with PMI (Analog Devices) OP275GP & Motorola 34082 Op-Amps. The Control Room / Headphone section in the Master has been upgraded. The entire mixer was also recapped. (audio path) 

Like the title says, this Mixing Console is a Creation Audio Labs modded Soundcraft Ghost Killer!! Thats a BOLD claim!! How do i have the Audacity to claim such a thing?!? Well, because i owned one. Was not impressed. Neither was my Studio partner or our clients. The mod helped the low end the most but the mid range and hi-mids were still muddy and smeary sounding. We sold it. This Modded Spirit Studio still has that massive low end like the modded Ghost BUT it has wayyyyy better mids and hi-mids. Like taking a blanket off the audio. We feel that this is accomplished because this modded Spirit Studio has superior op-amps, Alps pots & faders made in Japan, and of course the extra power from the fantastic custom power supply! Our studio already has a Trident 80b that we are stuck with but i wouldn't hesitate to use this Spirit Studio for any studio project!

This mixer was owned by an established L.A. Studio Engineer & Producer. He had a tech friend do the work and also made the power supply. A custom power supply of this quality would run you at least $1200. This beefier power supply ensures all the new hungry op-amps are satisfied.

Mixer was just serviced & cleaned. Everything is working and given a clean bill of health.

This mod is very similar to the Jim Williams (Audio Upgrades) mod. He uses Analog Devices OP275 op-amps in his mods and swears they are the best of the best. We agree. He charges 175 per channel, 175 per group, and 275 for the master. (I have the email from him if you want the proof.) So the grand total for a complete Jim William mod on this mixer would be $5175! This is excluding shipping cost to get everything to him.

Make no mistake. This is not a cheap budget mixer made in China and sold at Sam Ash. This mixing console has the professional polish & sounds better than anything under 7k. It's like a baby SSL. It will take your Studio to a whole new level! And its a good investment! Won't go down in value.
