Vintage Avon by Rose Morris SG Bass guitar. EB0 style. Model 3405


Its pre owned, used condition with many signs of use and wear. The things to note are -

• Many marks, scuffs, indents, surface scratches and signs of use.
• Checking to the finish down each side of the fretboard running several centimetres, I think possibly the fretboard has lifted in the past and been glued back down. This was checked by our repairman and its solid but there is the crazing down the edge.
• Damage to the body at the back near the rear strap button.
• Electrics work cleanly and well. The pickup sounds good and sounds really dubby and bassy as these often do.
• Top of the vol control is worn.
• New strings fitted ( The A string is from a different set but does the job, inexplicably when I opened the new set the A was missing so I used a string from our spares box to make up the set. )
• Approx 30" scale length.

It plays pretty well with a decent bass action, you may wish to tweak the set up once recieved.
