About This Listing
Manufactured in 1972, this finely aged, walnut finished beauty has diamond inlays, multilayered bindings, a long maestro vibrola, gold plated metal parts and Gibson logo engraved pickups.
The wiring has been wired so that the Varitone switch can be bypassed and the simple 2 Volume, 2 tone knobs gives easy control over the tones. The front pickup has been changed to a late 70s numbered PAF and the rear volume pod has also been swapped for a 80s model. The pick guard has also been changed, but the comfortable, woody yet full sounds produced will instantly make you fall for this beautiful masterpiece.
The nuts and frets are original and the playing condition is magnificent. A true, vintage instrument at your service!
