Up for grabs is this Cinaudagraph/ Consolidated 12" alnico speaker..
*******************************PRICE IS PER SPEAKER/ TWO AVAILABLE*********************************
If you are a collector, you might find these quite appealing. Not too many of these show up, not to mention look and sound like this pair does,...
If you are a guitar player, you'd love the "Power-Vintage" tonality they provide..
They were completely re-fabricated at PMR in Ohio with all new OEM/ AMERICAN components. There are no after market, replacement, eBay or china junk in it, but ALL AMERICAN components..
The magnetic gaps were verified with a gauss/flux probe and measured just fine so they were PURPOSELY NOT de-magnetized/re-magnetized. Some people say these old units sweeten with age and after hearing these two.., I have to agree...
Using a CURVED 12 RT-C all paper cone, that is neck dipped, , the surrounds treated with ReZon-Ex , and then with white pinstripe dampener rings, they really have great fidelity for Hi Fi/Tube amp use, and CAN be used for guitar or harp speakers..
The dust caps are an open weave/acoustically transparent natural textile, and let just the right amount of midrange/top end directly out of the voice coil/core area..Another special point is that these are done with a 1940's pressed felt extrusion, and make an air tight gasket... not to mention look cool too..These were made the 17th week of 1963

that'll give you guys a good idea how she's built..
For guitar use, The tonality of these speakers is what I like to call "Power-Vintage" tonality.....Nothing sounds like a good quality seamed cone..
. ...The lows are accurate and punchy. It adds a lot to the "crunch" because of harmonics of the primary frequency(s)..
The midrange is fast, detailed, and have a "presence" to them.. It's , almost 3D in it's presentation.
....The high end is actually useable, as these don't have the usual "Ice-Pick, "Eye squint", or beaming issues like all the others.. very usable, very steerable loudspeakers that are super clean when you need them to be, but when you slap the fuzz to them, you can see the shape of the waveform in your mind's eye if you close your eyes and listen to it...
These would also make a really nice pair of wide range speakers for low power tube amp hi fi..
***FULLY tested under diagnostics and operates without any rubbing, buzzing, holes, rips, tears, rot or adhesive failures, she works just peachy.....She's basically a new speaker, only BETTER .
Plus- I'm confident enough that you'll LOVE this one, that I am including my 15 day NO GAMBLE return option guarantee from delivery date (((less customer damage ))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like it..
So, if you happen to have a need... or even a craving for a really cool 12" alnico unit, , then here ya' go!!!
ANY questions or concerns, just ask...
THANKS GUYS!!-
