I offer here a real vintage jewel: a handmade Aria 9214 twelve string vintage acoustic guitar from the 1980s with a beautiful spruce top and a strong flamed rosewood body in an excellent condition.
This 12-string acoustic guitar was built at a time when Japanese guitar making was at its golden age and the high standards of instrument craftsmanship that prevailed there were reaching world fame. The old Aria guitars made in Japan do not enjoy an excellent reputation for nothing. They are extremely high quality guitars, finished with an unbelievable appreciation for detail.
This wonderful Aria comes with a flat top dreadnought construction and is made of high quality tonewoods: a beautifully tuned top made of beautiful fine grained spruce and a back and sides of flamed rosewood. The selected tonewoods in combination with the Japanese workmanship give the acoustic guitar a truly grandiose sonority: full, voluminous and powerful, but by no means too obtrusive, but balanced, simply harmonious. From vibrating basses and present mids to sparkling sweet highs.
Thanks to the spruce, the sound has evolved over time and the top is now really well tuned and produces a fantastic deep resonance and impressive dynamics. A small sound sample of the instrument can be found here:
With its 47mm nut width and the super low 2.7mm string action (XIIth fret
low E-string) the guitar has a pronounced and for the age untypically pleasant
Playability. With the two grub screws on the bridge, the string action can be easily adjusted as desired.
The entire instrument is handmade with an unbelievable attention to detail and you can see and hear this at first sight. The natural beauty of the slightly aged tonewoods, the cream-white binding on the mahogany neck, the smooth and stable Japan chrome tuning machine heads and a vintage Tortoise pickguard are all impressive.
In short, a unique vintage instrument with high sound and playing quality, which is
so no second time will be found!

Meanwhile Aria acoustic guitars built in Japan are rare, due to the excellent workmanship, the high quality woods and the resulting great sound, very popular with collectors, players and lovers alike:
The guitar is in excellent, very well maintained and unmodified original condition and has an excellent string action. The neck is straight, the frets are still very well playable and due to its age there are only a few small traces of use (one or two scratches and a miniding on the body, micro-scratches on the pickguard, etc. - see pictures). However, all traces are normal signs of use, only superficial and only visible on very close inspection. All in all, a collector's condition with an open sound that every store guitar would chase after.
Before shipping, we adjust the guitar (we are a team of longtime experienced guitar teachers) and put on new strings.
Insured shipping with DHL within Germany is possible for 9.49€ or within Europe for 20.99€.
Please look at all photos of the condition before buying and clarify any questions with us in advance! Thank you. :)
