Well, this listing is one that I really didn’t want to do like this, but I just don’t have the time or money to handle it right now. This is a pair of very sought after, and clean, a/d/s speakers model CM7. As you can see, they’re more like CM6’s.🤷‍♂️

I would like to make it perfectly clear that the speakers do work as they are. Even the midranges produce sound, and clear sound at that. I’m wondering if any kind of rubber dome, glued in their place, would take care of the issue.

They really are in terrific shape other than those two mid range speakers. The only other flaw is that one speaker grill is missing one of four clips that hold the grill on. It’s not really a big deal, but you can probably buy the clip from this man for a few dollars. I really hate to let these speakers go, because I really wanted to keep them for myself. But it’s all got to go for personal reasons. And I price them low enough so they should honestly go immediately. I know how hard these speakers are to come by, because everybody holds onto them and they were the most desirable out of the CM series. I just got unlucky on the day that I bought them. The bass that these speakers (STILL) produce is probably better than most of the other speakers that I have.

As you can see, the midrange speakers need rebuilding. There’s a man who purchased a/d/s’s parts supply when they closed their doors for good and he will rebuild these midranges for $130 for both and $15 shipping. It seems like a pretty fair deal to me, but I think when he sees them, the price may go down. To me it seems they only need the dome. Everything else seems to be intact, but you have to send him the midranges for him to decide what they need. I have about 20 pairs of speakers, several needing the foam replaced and I don’t have time to deal with this as well, I’d just soon drop the price accordingly.

And, just to be forewarned, these things weigh a ton, but at this price, I feel the shipping cost will be justifiable.
