The perfect addition to a serious Japanese guitar collection, this is a matching pair of vintage guitars built by Guyatone in the late 1960's. Sold in different markets as models including the Guyatone LG-70 and Ibanez 1860, these are unbranded models that were imported to Australia by a local store for resale. They have consecutive serial numbers stamped on the headstocks and both include the original cases, both are all original and in great condition except for one replacement bridge.
Info from the original catalog:
"This remarkable guitar offers a comfort-contoured body and adjustable reinforced fast-action neck with hardwood fingerboard for effortless playing and faster playing technique. Smooth tremolo action plus separate rhythm and lead tone circuits. Adjustable bridge gives comfortable string height, completely adjustable high fidelity dual pickups"
There's no chance I would split these up, they've spent the last 60 years together and i hope they can spend the next 60 together too! Price is for the pair.
