Samick 2001 HJS-650/TR Artist Series Archtop Electric Hollow Body Guitar in Sunburst w/Case

This is a consignment piece at our shop. Original except for tailpiece and knobs. We assume someone took off the Bigsby and replaced it with a trapeze tailpiece. There are holes where the original tailpiece was that were filled in with mother of pearl or perloid. There is a outline of something circular under the tailpiece. We were unable to get a photo. It's not in the wood, rather it looks like residue from something that was stuck on. These are on both sides of the tailpiece so it may have been left from the original Bigsby. Otherwise it's in excellent condition and sounds amazing. Weight 8lbs 12oz.

• Two ceramic humbuckers (~8K Ohms)

Hardware:

• Gold hardware
• 16:1 ratio lubricated, die-cast tuning machines
• Abalone-bound pickguard w/ Spruce veneer
• Headstock matching truss rod cover (1995-2001)
• Black "notched" Speed knobs were replaced with gold knobs
• Rosewood bridge with Pearloid rose inlays
• Bigsby-style tremolo was replaced with the trapeze tailpiece
