EXTREMELY RARE Limited Run #2 of 22 1992 Fender Custom Shop Matched Set “Twins” - Built by John Page!
This is the first run of numbered matched sets from 1992. Not to be confused with the 1993 & 1994 sets that were larger runs and less collectible. This set is #2 of 22 and it is our understanding it was the first set offered for sale. After speaking to Fender and John Page himself, Fender traveled to shows and dealers with set #1. Set one was strictly used for demo, and marketing, then tucked away by fender. Sets 2 through 22 were offered only to dealers across the United States. Though you will be hard pressed to find another set available for sale in this lifetime, you will never have another chance to own the first set available for sale.
This set is in pristine condition and shows little to absolutely no play wear. Only marks on the guitar are about an 1/8” mark by the head stocks where they hung from a wall stand. The case candy is sealed and untouched. The orange sticker is still over the trem hole on the Strat. Original cases and COA included. Both the top finish and birds eye necks are absolutely stunning. Pictures could never do them justice.
