About This Listing

One of three Chet Atkins models offered by Gretsch in the 1960s: the Tennessean! In addition to the Country Gentleman, this 6119 was wildly popular for its association with Chet Atkins and George Harrison, the latter of which was often photographed playing his Tennessean. This classic has been made perfectly playable by master builder Flip Scipio.

The Hi-Lo-Tron pickups are special, have a medium output, but offer a ton of twang and really cut through the mix. This Vintage guitar looks exceptionally well for its age. Has been played in, has minimal traces of use and playwear, some dings on the neck and top and some scuffs around the binding and rash on the back.

This beautiful Vintage Gretsch Tennessean is a must have for the collector and comes in a hard case with TFOA passport.
