I purchased these new in London in the early 80’s. The cabinets are in good condition considering they’re around 40 years old, and were well maintained. I soffit mounted these in my London studio and they sound simply gorgeous. The classic dual concentric 12” Tannoy Gold driver, rated at 60w. The drivers are in great condition. I originally drove these with a 1000w Yamaha amp, as specified by the great monitor designer, Roger Quested, on his systems. They performed effortlessly.
I will not ship these unless buyer arranges shipping. I will deliver, for a fee, within 2 hours of LA.
This is an opportunity to own some really beautiful speakers which could be used as main monitors or in a domestic situation which is spacious enough to accommodate them.
