This rare Parker FB5 was made at the original Andover Street location verified by former production manager Mick Donner. It is dead mint! No dings or scratches, no fret wear, original bag in pristine condition. The body is a Sitka spruce sandwich capped with gorgeous quilted maple in a honey colored natural finish. Super lightweight, (avg. 7 lbs.) this bass resonates like an acoustic unplugged and has a Fishman three band EQ for the hum cancelling DiMarzio ultra Jazz pickups PLUS Ibanez Monorail bridge including piezo saddles with their own volume and tone. There is a little static in the piezo controls and the pot is sealed, so it can't be sprayed. It obviously sat in a closet for a long time. Simply twisting the knobs may reduce or eliminate it, or you could have the pot replaced at your local shop. The tone is big, rich and full with a tight low B that sings! No dead spots on this carbon fiber graphite/mahogany neck and zero fret wear on the smooth stainless frets. Includes locking Sperzel tuning machines and was checked out and tweaked by a tech with 20+ years experience.
