1974 Ovation Country Artist 1624-4 that has spent the majority of its life in its case. There is no checking on the surface, no cracks, no previous repairs, and I believe safe to say that you would be hard pressed to find anything in as good condition for a 46 year old guitar. Amazing condition. I’m not sure that they show up in the photos but there are 2 small flaws, a tiny scratch in the clear coat finish by the low E string tuner and a chip in clear coat on back of neck behind 12th fret.
The Ovation logo on the headstock is faded but visible. The serial # is 022034. Anyone looking will probably know the history on this guitar, originally designed by Glen Campbell with nylon strings and a thinner very playable neck used for both live and studio work.
The electronics are the early single volume control. Pickup sounds great.
The case is the original Ovation and in great condition as well.
