About This Listing

This guitar was built by Morris (Moridaira Gakki) in the 1980s, a specialist luthier company in Japan, who also built the H.S. Anderson Madcats as used and loved by Prince. Morris is the anglicized name for Moridaira and Bill Lawrence guitars are a joint venture between Bill Lawrence and Moridaira Gakki / Morris, featuring fantastic Japanese build quality and expertise coupled with superb American Pickups and parts from Bill Lawrence.

Fantastic build quality and sounds absolutely great - tons of vintage Mojo and vibe, with the excellent Bill Lawrence pickups which give it such an awesome sound. A real fender custom shop beater!

The body is quite roadworn from playing with quite a lot of marks as you can see from the photos but that just adds to the character and look of the guitar but the neck and frets are in really good condition for a vintage strat.

Has been professionally set up and intonated by my guitar luthier with a lovely low action and is gorgeous to play, beats many of the Fender Custom Shop guitars I have owned!
