For Sale is a excellent condition 1995 Fernandes 1957 Reissue Fernandes with an up graded Gold Metal Anodized 2004 pick guard with a set of Mid 1980's E series vintage flat top Japanese pick ups and pots and sealed 5 way switch. The pick ups show 6.40K Bridge, 6.30K Middle and 6.31K ohms resistance on the neck pick ups. A tad better then the Fender USA 57 Reissue Bridge pickup as shown in the pictures at 6.22K ohms. These are hot pickups. Highway One pickups range in the 5's and a 6.0K at the bridge.. The Japanese are very generous in there craftmanship and electronics. Of course we know that they built all the Nippon Nec (Nippon electronic Corp.) Computer chips and most of every electronic parts we have enjoyed over the years in our TV's, etc. etc. you who are in the know, know what I mean. The Fernandes company started in 1969 guitar accessories manufacturer and was famous for they're Sustainer. Check out this Wikipedia page: Because they're guitars, amps, and Basses were a tad prohibitive price wise because of they're quality. AND the largest Guitar Manufacturer in Japan as well as owning a Gibson Replicas, Burny, which we all know and heard of for they're quality lawsuit les pauls.
What I would like you to see in the pictures is the accurate neck copy of the 50's Fender neck Slap that Leo changed to a thinner size slap in 1962. The neck on this Fernandes 57RI Strat is phenominal in feel and play with a C neck, meaty, and thick Rosewood slab. Although the neck should be a maple slab most manufacturers making reissue guitars are doing pretty much the same because of the love for Rosewood. The Japanese Fernandes dating is in the heel cavity and on the heel of the neck reads, 950722, I take that to read July 22, 1995 as production date. Also the stamped EX in red stands for EXTRAD a code the Japanese guitar companies associated with Fujigen add for they're most quality guitars and parts. Meaning the Body passed full Japan inspection and is grade A+. The bridge is also a USA Fender saddle stamped bridge with bar and large trem block for more sustain. The tuners are Fender Japan Stamped and yes Fernandes and Fujigen are associated and both companies use Gotoh for hardware. The Body pick up cavities are cut so you can install a wide range of pickup configurations. The one screw by the Tone knob were the input jack is a tad angled as the Anodized pickguard couldn't reach the original hole, but no extra holes are in the body as you see other then the 8 for the 57RI pickguard. An Allen Key like the Fender USA US serial necks is at the heel and a groove was added to accomandate the 50's style look. The neck is Straight as an arrow, the Frets are like new with no ware and large fretted on like I said one of the thickest rosewood Fret boards I ever seen. Playing this 1995 57RI Stratocaster by Fernandes is a dream and you won't want to put it down.. Also priced to sell. The pictures tell the story. There are plenty of small little marks here and there but the most reportable chip is on the horn hardly to be seen in black. However the quality of the Alder wood and great sounding electronics and feel make up for it. It's a start into a great relic'd Strat. Please feel free to ask questions. Look at the pictures close and enjoy. A brand new Fender gig bag will be included and shipped USPS. rock on
