Overview

Unlike most Gibson semi-hollowbodies which are built in the Memphis Custom Shop, the Midtown series was produced in Nashville. The idea was to offer a semi-hollow guitar with more solid-body like features and sizing. A few different Midtowns have been produced including a P-90 version launched in mid-2012.

Years of Production: 2012

Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Maple top, Mahogay neck, Rosewood fingerboard

Body Style: Semi-hollowbody double cutaway

Design Elements: Two P-90, dot inlays, Bigsby tremolo, f-holes
