The JAMR guitar is a unique, hand made and recently patented new electric guitar. It features two resting positions and a 25 1/2 inch scale.
This model weighs only 5 lbs and is 34 inches long. The nut is bone and the bridge is a Schaller roller bridge. The width at the nut is 1 7/8 so there is plenty of room for larger hands. The tuners are Grover Mini Romantics and the holes for the tuners are stepped. The fretboard is AA Rosewood. It has a double action truss rod that is easily accessible. The body is a one piece, hand shaped from Primavera hardwood. The neck is AA Maple, hand shaped and joined at the body with a dovetail tenon. Please see photos. The neck to body is a very solid connection requiring no screws and hand fitted to precision dimensions. This results in excellent tone and sustain. The electronics include an i device interface. You can connect the guitar to your iPhone, iPad or iPod and play it anywhere. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan Fat Cat with standard volume and tone control. If you are looking for a guitar that has a PRS style finish this guitar is not for you. But if you are looking for something new, fun to play and built rock solid with comfort and portability in mind the JAMR is the right choice. All of my guitars are tested and played until the intonation is spot on and the action is low. I set them up with the neck in a straight no relief position. They are ready to play out of the box. No setup required. Stand and strap are included.
