Developed by Wayne Rogers and Bela Fleck with a flavor of Curtis McPeake. This banjo has unison strings on 1, 2 and 5 and octave strings on 3 and 4. The dual strings give great volume and sustain. The octave strings gives extra depth. The action is fast, the neck is straight, a real easy player. The 3 ply pot gives a great woody sound, an extra thickness was turned into the pot in place of a metal tone ring.
