About This Listing

This 1954 Echosonic amp is owned by legendary rockabilly guitarist Brian Setzer

Serial number- #68 The holy grail of rockabilly amps right here! Scotty Moore and Chet Atkins used these amps. The amp functions and sounds killer. You can hear the tape echo fire up and it indeed still works! (Its a bit noisy when the echo is "engaged" and you are close to the amp but thats what you get with a REAL tape machine rolling inside). This amp is in pretty great shape overall both functionally as well as cosmetically with just a few scrapes and scuffs on the covering as well as the handle.  This is truly a remarkably rare piece of gear!
