About This Listing

Up for sale is a very nice and rare 1993 PRS CE24 in Vintage Yellow with a MAPLE fretboard and PRS’ “Regular” profile neck. This guitar comes equipped with stock HFS/Vintage bass pickups and an upgraded MannMade 2000NOS one-piece bridge (original manufacturer of PRS bridges) for increased tone and sustain, normally a $225 upgrade. Not only are the maple fretboard versions of this guitar extremely rare, but this model is also very well sought after due to the fact that prior to 1995 the CE’s had smaller neck heels and were built with an alder body and a maple top instead of a mahogany body. This combo including a maple fretboard is exceedingly difficult to come by, and to top it off, this guitar is in excellent condition other than two tiny hairline marks in the finish right at the neck pocket which is common for bolt ons.

This guitar had the PRS McCarty 3-way push/pull wiring installed, however the stock 5-way rotary switch and original pots are included also. The aftermarket pickup covers were removed, but they are included if the buyer wishes to reinstall them. Also included are two brand new sets of PRS lampshade knobs, one clear set, one amber set, and the trem bar. The guitar will be shipped in the original hard case, which is in great condition as well.
