About This Listing

The Roland JV-2080, released in Japan in 1996, is a spectacular rack synthesizer which has gained a lot of attention in recent years as a superb example of some of the late 90s and early 2000s high-quality sampler synths. In many ways, the JV-2080 is the older brother of the also excellent JV-1080, building on what makes the JV-1080 a legendary synth by adding a larger LCD screen, more expansion capacity, and more FX inserts. Sonically, the JV-2080 is nearly identical to the Roland JV-1080. The JV-2080 features 64-voice polyphony and 8x expansion bays to load sound cards. It is loaded with awesome sounds, including some of those featured on the soundtrack for Goldeneye 64 and other old-school games. It would be a stellar addition to the studio of any composer or producer.

Condition notes
This JV-2080 is in excellent condition (please see pictures), with only minor signs of use, including some minor scratches. The screen is in great condition and easy to read. All buttons and knobs are working. The entire unit has been checked, and everything is working flawlessly.

I usually ship by air, but if you would like to save some money, I can ship by boat. Please send me a message to inquire.
