The Denon PMA-2000IIR, released in Japan in 1998, is a high-fidelity integrated amplifier which builds on the PMA-2000 (based on the exceptional PMA-S1). As expected from Denon, the PMA-2000IIR is a fantastically well-built amplifier, using high-grade internal components and a high-quality circuit design. The output stage features UHC (Ultra High Current)-MOS, which has 3 to 10 times as much current capacity as is typical. It features a twin-mono block design and a phono equalizer with low-noise FETs and switchable MM and MC settings. Overall, the PMA-2000IIR is a wonderfully built and designed amp, with exceptional sound.
