2013 Ken Hooper OM-18. The guitar has Ken's standard OM-18 specs: mahogany b/s, red spruce top ( supplied by John Arnold), very thin varnish finish, 1 3/4 nut width, Brazilian head plate , etc. Bone set up tone wise, the guitar is very forward sounding. It is an ultra-light guitar so the top really pushes alot of sound. That, coupled with the thin varnish finish, makes this guitar super responsive when playing with fingers. However, because of the really nice red spruce top, the guitar has tons of headroom when played hard with a pick. The guitar can certainly hand in a jam with other dreadnoughts. Its really a spectacular guitar.
